If you like quality seafood this is the place for you! Service is excellent & adult beverages are awesome. We travel over 40 miles to eat here! Try the fried shrimp....i haven't found anyone that does it better than Musselwhite's!

Had the fried seafood platter. Extra shrimp instead of clam strips and catfish for my fish selection-both at no extra charge. Recommend you request Amanda as your server. She is, by far, the best server I have ever had. Will go back if in the area.

Hubby and I went today for the first time in 10 years! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly!! We both got the fried shrimp special for 7.50 and it came with 12 shrimp 2 sides and 2 hush puppies. My daughter had a blast coloring pictures and the staff even commended her on her coloring and hung them put for all to see. We will definitely be back soon cant wait to try the fish! If you want good food and good service you should try this place out forsure!!!

Been here maybe 4 times. The food is just not up to par. Minorcan chowder, no flavor, undercooked vegetables. Chicken and dumplings, tasteless. Pretty much everything is bland, boring, not cooked correctly. We gave it so many chances because there's usually a crowd and we thought it might have improved. It didn't.

Good but not great. I read about those hushpuppies and all when reading yelp on the road when passing through. Trying for a healthy choice, I had the catch of the day that was flounder grilled with Parmesan topped and my two sides. it was a simple presentation and wasn't too flavorful. At about $18 for the fish, it was disappointing. I can see why it was busier for the folks who came during early bird where the price was around $10.

My wife and I went there based on great Yelp reviews, but after the visit I was left out wondering if this was the same restaurant everybody liked so much. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but I had a vastly different experience. Lets start with service. Restaurant was nearly empty due to the severe storm in the area. After we came in and were sat at our table the waitress took good five minutes to show up and take our drink orders. She never introduced herself, and never mentioned anything about specials, although they had something written down on the chalk board at the entrance. Empty beer bottles and dirty plates were never removed from the table. At the end the waitress brought us a check and never returned to pick the payment up. After about 10 or 15 minutes waiting I took it to the cashier myself. The food: Again maybe it was a bad day for them but the food was mediocre at best. Boston clam chowder was the worst I ever had in my lifetime. Nothing creamy about it. It was watery, very salty and had a distinct sour taste to it. Brrr... To add the insult to the injury, they gave me a teaspoon to eat the soup with. Grilled scallops were slightly overdone, but OK. The waitress mixed my order up and brought me fruit salad for a side instead of fries. My wife had chicken wings with fries and fried onions. Chicken wings were cold and tasted like nothing. Its pretty hard to screw wings up but they managed. It made me wonder whether they really cooked them today or just warmed up a previously cooked order. French fries were the ridged type you buy frozen at the grocery store. They had little taste. Fried onions actually tasted good but were not crispy (microwaved?). I will never visit again.
